Who are we, and why are we doing this?
We are, for lack of a better description, the crazy dog ladies! We volunteer our time to helping homeless animals. We either manage, foster, support, raise money, or work at a rescue/shelter/or both, keep animals healthy, or some combination of all the above. We have a passion for pets, and we know that you do too.
We are organizing this event to provide a fun filled venue for all animal lovers throughout New England. While fun is an important part of this, our main goal is to educate, educate, educate! Let's use this opportunity to teach the public about all the hard work we do. Let's find some homes for our adoptables. Let's spread the word about why people should adopt a pet, and not buy their new pet from a pet store/puppy mill. And then, let's all get to know each other, and work as a united front to combat the issues that make it necessary for shelters and rescues to be in existence.
